“He has done his part and they look good,” Robicheaux added. “The next step is to have them run well on the racetrack. Part of the success is making sure they get in the right hands—the right buyers and right trainers—to where they get a chance in the futurities where they can show that they can shine right out of the box. Hopefully, they do their part next year, and that’s when we’ll know for sure what we have. I like our chances right now. We’re excited.”

“I’m knocked out,” Frank Merrill of Bob Moore Farms said of the yearlings by Hes Relentless. “They all look very much alike in structure, which is a precursor to the distinct possibility that the horse is going to be a sire; like father like son. I’m not surprised. I’ve had a lot of faith in this horse since the first time I saw him run. He’s done everything we have asked of him.
“He’s been booked full every year he has stood at stud,” Merrill added. “And booked full early, which I anticipate again for next year.”

“They look good,” Dr. Steve Burns of Burns Ranch said of Jess Being Valiant’s yearlings. “They have good size and are well-balanced. I think they will be good prospects. He should be off to a nice start with this crop. Hopefully, he’ll make his mark. He’s a nice horse.”

“He is a massive horse,” said Chad Hart of the stallion. “He looks as much like First Down Dash as any horse I’ve ever seen. He is the squarest-made horse you’ll ever see and from any angle. That’s the sign of a good horse, and his yearlings are big and good-looking just like him. He’s passing on his looks.
“After people saw his first foals, he really caught on,” Hart continued. “His books have increased as people have seen his babies, and that says a lot about him.”
