RACE CONDITIONS:
1. ELIGIBLE HORSES: Only paint foals (solids are eligible) of 2011 which are registered with The American Paint Horse Assn. and sired by Member Sires of 2010 will be eligible to enter the race. 2. PAYMENTS: Except as provided herein, the failure to make all payments on or before the designated dates will result in a termination of the nomination and all prior nominating and sustaining payments will be forfeited. All payments must be postmarked no later than the due dates and should be sent by registered mail. The sender’s receipt must be stamped by the United States Postal Service and presented as proof of mailing if date discrepancies occur. Postage metered dates will not be accepted if payments are not received by the due dates. United States Postal Service date stamped metered mail will constitute evidence of mailing if dated, mailed and stamped on or before due dates. All returned checks constitute no payment.
3. ENTRY: Entries in all races must be made through the entry box at host track. (Call the track for entry dates and to enter). Each horse must pass entry before running in trials or finals. All regular and usual office charges and jockey fees will be charged by track officials for each entry.
4. TRIALS: A sufficient number of trial heats will be run, the number of horses in each heat to
be adjusted depending upon the final entries, provided that no race shall have less than five (5) horses. If a tie exists for any reason, horses involved in such a tie will draw lots to determine which shall participate in the finals. The decision of the Oklahoma Horse Racing Commission will be final in all matters. There will be no also eligibles.
5. FINALS & CONSOLATION: The finals will consist of a field of no more than ten (10) horses. In the event ten or fewer horses enter the trials, only those who enter the trials, will be eligible for the finals. There will be no consolation unless 100 horses start in the trials. If 100 or more horses start in the trials, a consolation will be run.
6. SCRATCHES: If a horse is ruled ineligible by the stewards or the Oklahoma Horse Racing Commission for entry into any of the races comprising the futurity or if the stewards scratch or disqualify a horse from any race described herein for a rule violations, such horse will be ineligible for receipt of any purse money. After the entry date for the finals, the purse money that might have
been due to such horse will be divided proportionately (based on purse percentages) among other starters in such race. If, after the entry date for such race, one or more horses are withdrawn from the finals for any reason other than ineligibility or a rule violation, the purse monies (in inverse order of finish) equal to the number of withdrawn horse for such race will be distributed equally to the owners of the horses withdrawn from such finals.
7. RACE DATES: The Pot - O - Gold reserves the right to reschedule, postpone or cancel the
race for any reason which it deems sufficient. Any nomination to the race may be refused without liability by the Pot - O - Gold for any reason at any time prior to the actual running of the finals or consolation. If the race is cancelled, all nominating and sustaining payments theretofore paid, less the amounts deducted for advertising and administrative expenses will be refunded.
8. CHANGE OF ADDRESS: The owner of a horse nominated to the race is responsible for notifying the Pot - O - Gold of the sale of a horse nominated to the race or of a change in the owner’s address. 9. SPONSOR: The race is sponsored by the Pot - O - Gold Stallion Breeders Association. All disputes as to the eligibility to participate in the race or place to run the race, will be determined
by the sole discretion of the Pot - O - Gold and the decision of the Pot - O - Gold will be absolute, final, and binding.
10. Added Money: Money derived from prenominated stallions. All interest added to purse. 15% from all monies received deducted for advertising and administration fees.
11. RACING RULES: The racing date and the race conditions are subject to approval by the Pot
- O - Gold and the Oklahoma Horse Racing Commission. The decision of the stewards or the Oklahoma Horse Racing Commission in all matters under their jurisdiction will be final. Nominations are accepted only on the condition that those persons nominating or starting a horse in the trials, or the finals agree to abide by these race conditions, the rules and regulations promulgated by the Oklahoma Horse Racing Commission Rules of Racing (Pari-Mutual), all other rules, regulations
and conditions promulgated by the Oklahoma Horse Racing Commission or any other applicable governmental authority.

1st - 35%, 2nd - 13.8%, 3rd - 7.3%, 4th - 5.4%, 5th - 4.5%, 6th - 4.2%, 7th - 4.0%, 8th - 3.8%, 9th - 3.6%, 10th - 3.4% CONSOLATION: Only if 100 head or more start in trials; other- wise there will be no consolation.
