success stories are the 2009 gelding Lethal Volt (Volcom-Miss Lethal, by Chicks Beduino), who placed fifth in the $2.4 million All American Futurity-G1 in 2011, and the 2009 filly Shes Jess Dynamite (FDD Dynasty-Shes Jess Special, by Mr Jess Perry), who won the $186,220 Hialeah Lassie Futurity on Dec. 26, 2011.
“When she was out in Ruidoso, Shes Jess Dynamite hated it,” Dr. White said. “She hated the track; she hated people; she was just a sour little mare. They got her back here to Texas with trainer Toby Keeton and he spent a lot
of time babying her. He even got her to where she’ll come over and want to be scratched a little bit. As soon as she got happy, she started running and she’s now won four in a row.”
Keeton sent Shes Jess Dynamite to trainer Joe Manucy in Florida, where she became a stakes winner.
Finding happiness made the difference for Shes Jess Dynamite. And, Dr. White said, it’s made the difference for himself as well: “If you surround yourself with a good wife, good fam- ily, good horses and good partners, and go to what you think are really some of the top train- ers, you increase your chances of success.”

Lethal Volt won a trial to the 2011 All American Futurity-G1. Shes Jess Dynamite won the Hialeah Lassie Futurity on Dec. 26.
