 My morning usually starts with me listening to business news on my way to work. I hear countless people talking about the
greatest investments, given what’s going on in the world. With the volatility in the market over the last 18 months, many people are wondering if their investments are satisfactory. The news media is constantly making investors
worry when its not necessary. In turn, investors can end up trying to do too much with their portfolio rather than trusting the long-term investment strategy. For example, I’ll share a quick story about my baseball career in college.
I was a pitcher for my entire life, and
I loved doing that more than anything else. I was playing Division 2 baseball my

I’m hearing is with gold and cryptocurrency, which are two investments that have become popular with the recent struggles of the stock market. Ironically enough, the best time to buy stocks is typically when people start to go a different direction. The news media will create

because sometimes when you try to do too much, it causes more harm than good, and that is what happened to my baseball career. Recently, the news is causing some people to stir the pot and think about unnecessary changes to their portfolio. I’m going to discuss some of the common news topics over the last year or two.
