The matriarch of Ladybug Stallion Station in Madill, Oklahoma, Weetona Stanley has headed the operation since the passing of her husband A.F. “Sonny” Stanley in 1993. Stanley was the owner of 2006 AQHA Dam of Distinction First Prize Dash, dam

As a racing owner, Weetona Stanley has won by herself or in partnership most of the major races offered at Remington Park, including the 2002 Heritage Place Fu- turity with Fast First Prize; the 2006 Heritage Place Futurity with First Carolina; the 2007 Remington Park Derby with First Carolina; the 2009 Remington Park Futurity with First Prize Leesa; and the 2014 Decketta Stakes with First Prize Shaunda.
