Julianna attributes her success to God; to Bennie, her longtime partner, friend and top hand; and to the many people who have shared their support, wisdom and expertise throughout the years. Her deepest desire, she says, is that the Cross Triangle Ranch is known for their good horses and standard of excellence.
As a result of her dedication to setting and achieving high standards, she will be inducted into the Texas Horse Racing Hall of Fame for 2018 in August.
Ranching continues to be the life and the work Julianna loves most. “Work hard and good things happen,” she says. “I try to maintain humility and stay connected to those who know more than I. My experience has been that when people see that you are sincere and trying your best, they are willing to share some of their great knowledge with you. A tip here and a tip there adds up to a lot of wisdom.”
