Expressions N Snow (#9) broke on top and led throughout for a wire-to-wire victory by a head, setting the 4th fastest time. Kiowas Success (#7) just missed to finish 2nd for the 5th qualifying position. DCM Furyofthestorm (#4) finished a strong 3rd for the 6th qualifying spot in front of RP Deans Livewire (#1), who qualified 8th. Ima Good Time Charlie (#2) took the final qualifying position with a 5th place finish in the trials.

Bully Pulpit (#5) won by a neck with an impressive finish, setting the fastest qualifying time. DTL Samureye (#8) broke on top and was caught at the wire for the 2nd qualifying position, with Apollos Second Sign (#7) close behind in 3rd to qualify 3rd. Cajun Prize (#10) finished 4th to qualify 7th, and Dashin Turnpike (#1) finished 5th to qualify in 9th position.
