A record breaking 38 teams from the U.S. and Canada competed at the Championship of Champions in Walla Walla, Washington Sept. 21-23 in
the largest gathering of Indian Relay racers. The Northwest Express team took home the win with Mathew Pakootas riding, the S/M Express team, with Dustin Kruger riding, was second in a photo finish.
