*For Races with trials: The top 10 fastest qualifiers from trials will remain eligible for the stake. Races will be run as many times as deemed necessary - fields limited to 10 starters. If less than 14 horses enter back into the trials, the trials will be cancelled and moved to the final, with horses having
the highest 2016-2017 earnings preferred. In order to be eligible for a full refund of payment, you must enter finals and fail to draw into finals.
*On High Money Earning Stakes ( Indiana Grand Classic, Bradford Stake, Speed Sale Futurity, Indiana Championship)
If nomination is missed then the nomination fee of $100 plus $500 late fee must be postmarked by the sustaining payment date.
*On High Money Earning Stakes (Born Runner and Hoosier Park Classic) double the missed nomination plus sustaining payment and postmarked by sustaining payment date. On high money earning stakes the sustaining fee only will be refunded if failure to draw into the race.
*On stakes with trials - if nomination is missed- double the missed nomination plus the first sustaining payment. Must be postmarked by the sustaining payment date.
*On these open races: Indiana Grand QHRAI Derby, Heartland Futurity, Governors Stake, QHRAI Derby-
Late pay after first sustaining payment is double missed payments plus $5,000 plus 2nd sustaining payment. Must be postmarked by the sustaining payment date. (Note: these races have two sustaining payments due)
*Payments may be made online, or mail in check, money order or credit card number, sorry we cannot take payments over the phone. *When payment due dates fall on a holiday or Sunday, payments will be due, postmarked the following business day.
