Q: If you could vacation anywhere on the planet, where would it be and what would you do there?
A: I definitely want to visit Italy and go to Rome to see the Colosseum.
Q: Do you have a favorite quote and, if so, what is it?
A: “Play for more than you can afford to lose and you will learn the game.”
Q: If you could sit down and visit with anyone, past or present, who would it be?
A: Clint Eastwood. I’ve always enjoyed his movies as an actor and a director, and I think he would be very interesting to talk with.
Q: What drink would your friends describe you as, and why?
A: My wife says I am a fine wine that gets better with age, but my friends would probably say a stale beer.
Q: Who’s your favorite athlete of all time, and why?
A: Michael Jordan. His competitiveness and athletic ability was something I had never seen before. Being in high school at the time and playing basketball, everyone wanted to be like Mike.
Q: If you were making a movie about yourself, who would you cast to play you, and why?
A: This is an interesting question. I’ve never thought about this. My wife says Robert Redford, the Rock or William Shatner! I’m going to plead the fifth on this one.
Q: What’s one thing you don’t like about barrel racing?
A: New producers that schedule events
on top of events that have been established for years.
Q: What’s one thing you like about barrel racing?
A: The family atmosphere. There is a
class for all levels and ages from Pee Wee to Senior that everyone can compete in. The reward of seeing the results of all your hard work and training paying off in
a performance that is timed and not judged.
