Paul Luedemann, the Minneapolis, Minnesota-born son of Bill and Mary Luedemann, got involved
in rodeo early in life. His fellow-city- dwelling wife of 34 years, Maren, the daughter of Glenn and Mary Steinke, has trained barrel-racing horses since her teens.
In the years since they joined forces, they created and developed Summer Run Inc. and Summer Run Arena, a year-round barrel and roping facility
in Buffalo, Minnesota. The breeding operation not only breeds for the racetrack, but also breeds and repurposes runners into barrel-racing and team- roping careers.
Their latest homebred protege, 2020 mare Beep Beep Rev Rev (A Revenant- Etta Betta Zoom, Shazoom), has earned multiple graded stakes-winning status with nine wins and two seconds from 14 starts and career earnings of $170,345 thus far.
