Consigned by Bobby Cox and purchased by Chad Hart, 2006 mare Jess Significant was the $95,000 second-highest seller.
The 41st annual Heritage Place Fall Mixed Sale was held over two days in Okla- homa City on Nov. 1-2, 2019. Sale figures were hard to determine, as last year’s sale showcased the $2.1 million sale of
Moonin The Eagle. Of 560 horses of- fered, 487 were sold with gross sales of $5,635,300. The average selling price was $10,621, with the median improving to $6,500 from last year’s $6,300.
“We had a great sale overall,” said Heri- tage Place General Manager Spence Kidney.
“Thanks to all of our buyers and consign- ors, we appreciate them all.”
The $180,000 high seller was Hip# 490 Call Me Cole (Corona Cartel-Little Surfer, First Down Dash), a 4-year-old sorrel colt by AQHA’s all-time leading living sire Corona Cartel and out of multiple stakes winner/pro- ducer and New Track Record setter Little Surf- er. Consigned by Lazy E Ranch LLC, Agent for Reliance Ranches LLC and purchased by Javier Alvarez Jr., Call Me Cole is a winner
of three races, was third in the Los Alamitos
Two Million Futurity-G1 and a finalist in the Golden State Million Futurity-G1.
Chad Hart purchased second highest sell- er Hip# 323 Jess Significant (Mr Jess Perry- Significant Speed, Duel Fuel) for $95,000. Consigned by Bobby Cox, the 2006 mare
is by leading sire Mr Jess Perry and out of 2-time Champion Significant Speed. Jess Significant is the dam of multiple stakes win- ners, including Champion Significant Heart. The mare was sold with an embryo to World Champion sire Ivory James.
