THE SIRE SIDE AND A NICK
One Famous Eagle, the sire of Hes Relentless, won the 2007 Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity-G1, the 2008 Los Alamitos Super Derby-G1 and the 2008 Golden State Derby-G1. He set new Los Alamitos stakes records in both races which were run at 400 yards. One Famous Eagle covered the 400 yards in the Los Alamitos Super Derby in :19.321 and in a time of :19.300 for the Golden State Derby and was named the 2006 Champion 3-Year-Old Colt.
One Famous Eagle is moving up the sire list at a very fast pace having attained $30 million in earnings. He started his sire career in 2012 and is the sire of five million dollar money earners, including 2012 World Champion One Dashing Eagle, winner of the All American Futurity-G1, the Golden State Futurity-G1 and the Ed Burke Million Futurity-G1. He was also named the 2012 Champion 2 Year Old and Champion 2-Year-Old Colt. Imperial Eagle is the second All American Futurity-G1 winner by One Famous Eagle. This horse won the 2016 version of the race and was the 2016 Champion 2 Year Old and Champion 2-Year- Old Gelding. His next million dollar money earner is 2017 All American Futurity-G1 winner Fly Baby Fly. His fourth million dollar winner is 2018 All American Derby-G1 winner Hotstepper, who was named the 2018 Champion 3-Year-Old Gelding. His fifth million dollar earning foal is Bodacious Eagle, the 2018 World Champion, Champion Aged Horse and Champion Aged Gelding who won the 2019 Champion of Champions-G1.
Mr Jess Perry, the sire of One Famous Eagle, is the #3 all-time leading sire of money earners with earnings of over $56 million and still counting. His foals have garnered 1,145 ROM from 1,408 starters. This includes 144 stakes winners and 163 stakes placed horses. Mr Jess Perry is the sire of 43 Grade 1 stakes winners. His leading money earner is 2010 World Champion Apollitical Jess, whose earnings are over $1.3 million.

out of Chick’s Fantacia. She is the dam of seven ROM. The sire of Chick’s Fantacia is Three Chicks. This gives the pedigree of One Famous Eagle his fourth cross to the Three Bars/Chicado Chic cross. It also gives One Famous Lady
a breeding pattern of 5x5 to Chicado V and another example of inbreeding to a Superior Female. Thus we see a cross that is linebreeding to Chicado V through Scoopie Fein (4x4
to Chicado V) and One Famous Lady (5x5
to Chicado V). This brings the influence of Chicado V forward in the pedigree to keep her
influence important to the pedigree.
It has to be noted that Hes Relentless, Flying Famous Eagle and One Ruthless
Eagle are out of This Dreams Flying and are by One Famous Eagle. This gives us
a nick and this nick is reinforced with World Champion Bodacious Eagle, a 3/4 brother to these three
runners.
