Q: If you could vacation anywhere on the planet, where would it be & what would you do there?
A: At this time, I’m very intrigued by the Viking River Cruise vacations in Europe.
Q: If you could sit down and visit with anyone, past or present, who would it be?
A: Keith Richards. We share the same birthday and appreciation for music. That’s probably where it ends, but he would be interesting to get to know.
Q: What drink would your friends describe you as, and why?
A: That drink has probably changed a few times over the years.
Q: Who’s your favorite athlete of all time, and why?
A: Johnny Bench of the Reds was my favorite growing up. He changed the position of catcher in the way he played. Michael Jordan was just so dominant, you knew he would make the play to win at the height of his career. I took an easy way out with the two of them.
Q: If you were making a movie about yourself, who would you cast to play you, and why?
A: Kevin Spacey. He can play any role.
Q: What’s one thing you don’t like about Quarter Horse racing?
A: I don’t prefer the really short races, spe- cifically 250 yards. I would like to see 300 or even more so 330 yards as the minimum. It just gives a horse the opportunity to
still have a nice race, even if the start was compromised.
Q: What’s one thing you like about Quarter Horse racing?
A: All-out excitement and frenzy of so much being on the line for the horse and the con- nections in a short period of time. I’ve had the fortune to see many of the modern greats and call many of those races as well.
