   The New Mexico-Bred Sale, which was held Aug. 21-22 at the Ruidoso Downs Sales Pavilion, was split into two sessions. Quarter Horse yearlings sold Friday and Thoroughbreds sold Saturday. There were, however, several Quarter Horse mares that sold on Saturday

sales only, preliminary figures show the sale saw gross sales surpass $2 million with a 23% increase in yearlings offered compared to 2014.
The high seller at $60,000 was Hip #72 Regards Miracle (Chicks Regard-Old Lady Mitchell, Dean Miracle), a sorrel colt con- signed by Cindy Dick and purchased by Joe Dee Brooks, Scott Bryant, Lee Lewis and Ted Rushing. Regards Miracle is a half-brother to stakes winner Montauk. The co-2nd-highest seller at $45,000 was Hip #107 Mischka Brown (Big Daddy Cartel-Mischka, Brimmerton), a brown filly consigned by MJ Farms, Agent and purchased by Stan Sigman. Mischka Brown’s second dam is a stakes winning full sister to Champion Leading Spirit. The co-2nd-highest seller also at $45,000 was Hip #115 Flashy Lifestyle (First Moonflash-Rodeo Moon, Mr Jess Perry), a brown filly consigned by Karina Gonzalez and purchased by Steve Brantley. Flashy Lifestyle is the first foal out of a half- sister to 2-Time Champion Your First Moon, the dam of 2-Time Champion Moonist.
Of the Quarter Horse mares selling during the Saturday session, the $20,000 high seller was Hip #305 Jess Adoration (Mr Jess Perry- First To Adore, First Down Dash). The 2011 unraced sorrel mare, who was consigned by Rafter W Stables and purchased by Cynthia Dick, is a full sister to a stakes winner and is out of a stakes-placed full sister to Champion First To Flash. Jess Adoration sold in foal to FDD Dynasty for a 2016 foal.
