Dear Paint & Appaloosa Owners:
The first leg of the 2013 Speedhorse Triple Crown is the 350-yard $100,000 added Grade 1 Speedhorse Graham Paint & Appaloosa Futurity at Remington Park in Oklahoma City. Trials are May 18 and finals June 1. Payments began in January, but horses can still be entered by making all payments to date - January through March ($1,500) and a late payment of $1,000 for a total of $2,500 by March 1st. Late payments will be accepted through the May 1 payment, and there is a late supplement at time of entry. See payment schedule to enter late after March.
The second leg of the 2013 Speedhorse Triple Crown is the 350-yard $30,000 added estimated Grade 1 Speedhorse Paint & Appaloosa Futurity at Fair Meadows in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Tentative trials are July 19 and tentative finals August 2. Payments began February 1st, but horses can still be entered by making all payments to date – February through March ($600) and a late payment of $150 for a total of $750 by March 1st. Late payments will be accepted through the June 1 payment, and there is a late supplement at time of entry. See payment schedule to enter late after March.
The third leg of the 2013 Speedhorse Triple Crown is the 400-yard $50,000 added Grade 1 Lone Star Speedhorse Paint & Appaloosa Futurity at Lone Star Park in Grand Prairie, Texas. Tentative trials are in October and tentative finals are in November. Payments begin May 1. See payment schedule for details.
Horses must enter, be paid in full, race and win all three races to be named the Speedhorse Paint & Appaloosa Triple Crown Champion. The winner of the Triple Crown will receive ownership of a 4-Star Trailer, as well as other awards.
Horses must enter, be paid in full in all three races, and run in at least two of the Triple Crown races to be eligible for the High-Point Champion. High-Point Champion points are accumulated according to the position each horse finishes in each race. The horse with the most points at the completion of the Triple Crown series will be High-Point Champion. The winner of the High-Point Champion will receive a $5,000 cash bonus from RaMax Farms.
There are no restrictions to these races, but Paint horses must have one regular registered Paint parent.
