Speedhorse Graham Paint & Appaloosa Stakes
With $35,000 added and no nomination fee, you won’t want to miss this 350-yard race held March 19 at Remington Park in Oklahoma City. All you need is a registered Paint Horse, $250 to enter plus a $250 starter fee.
$250,000 (est.) Speedhorse Graham Paint & Appaloosa Futurity-G1
Held at Remington Park in Oklahoma City, trials for this 350-yard race for two year olds are on May 14 with finals on May 28. Payments started in December but late entries are accepted. See the nomination form for complete details.
$100,000 (est.) Speedhorse Paint & Appaloosa Futurity-G1
Fair Meadows in Tulsa, Okla. is hosting the trials on July 9 and finals on July 23
for two year olds over 350 yards. Includes $20,000 (est.) Speedhorse Paint & Appaloosa Juvenile by fastest time for horses not qualifying for the futurity finals. Payments start Feb. 1.
$50,000 (est.) Speedhorse Paint & Appaloosa Championship Futurity-G1
Will Rogers Downs in Claremore, Okla., is hosting this 400-yard premier event for two year olds with trials on Oct. 22 and finals on Nov. 12. Payments start May 1.

For the second year in a row, Extreme Chico and owner Jill Beaty of Elgin, Okla,, closed 2021 with the most total points earned in APHA’s Paint Barrel Racing Incentive Program. This landed them not only the title of 2021 PBRIP High-Point Champion but also the 2D championship as well.
Jill will receive a Gist Silversmiths trophy buckle for her high-point win at the annual PRBIP awards presentation April 9 at the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Extreme Chico is a 2005 sorrel tobiano gelding by Rare Jet Extremes (QH) and out of Arkansas Diamond; owned by Jill, he was bred by James and Sandra Lowe of Louisburg, Kansas.
