Last month, we shared with readers information about safely disposing
of expired or unwanted prescription medications through you regular trash service . While this is a safe means of disposal, there are also other alternatives.
National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day is Saturday, October 27. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Douglas County Sheri ’s O ce (DCSO) Highlands Ranch substation, located at 9250 Zotos Drive, will be accepting unused or expired prescription and over-the-counter medications for safe disposal. This is a free drive-through service.
