Michelle Balch Lyng

Congratulations to The Village at Castle Pines resident Michelle Balch Lyng, founder/CEO of Novitas Communications in Denver. Lyng has recently received three di erent awards, causing people to take notice of this young entrepreneur:
1. The Denver Business Journal’s “Women to Watch” and Bizwomen’s “Headliners in Media, Marketing, and Communication” award. A total of 80 women were chosen as “Women to Watch” in di erent categories nationally.
2. Chosen one of ColoradoBiz magazine’s “Top 5 Most In uential Young Professionals in Colorado.”
3. A winner of the “National Reed Award 2019” for working against oil and gas ballot initiative 112, and for the best Spanish Language Ad 2019 for a ballot initiative.
The criteria for the awards Balch Lyng received were business achievements, community participation, reinvention of programs.... and also called: Rule breakers, Risk Takers, and News Makers. These remarkable women are expected to continue making news with their creativity and talents.
Lyng said: “I understand the importance of giving back to the community, and Novitas’ own nonpro t, reGENERATION, focuses on helping millennials nd greater opportunity. As philanthropy chair for the Kappa Kappa Gamma Alumni Association, we have helped raise more than $1 million for Craig Hospital, a nationally recognized spinal cord injury treatment center, through the charity’s annual Book and Author event. I also served on the board of the First Tee of Colorado, which uses the sport of golf to instill values such as discipline, courtesy and respect in children who come from disadvantaged backgrounds.”
Balch Lyng also added: “My guilty pleasure and passion is renovating, nding missed opportunities and revitalizing properties.”
