Get ready for eggcitement at the Egg Scramble!

Calling all kids 11-years-old and younger and their families! It’s almost time to hunt for hidden eggs at the Egg Scramble, a new community spring egg hunt brought to you by the City of Castle Pines and The Castle Pines Connection. Join in the fun scramble for eggs on Saturday, April 20 at 10:00 a.m. at The Ridge at Castle Pines North golf course.

themselves. This year, we are excited to again be partnering with The
Ridge and The Connection to kick o the event season with our new
egg hunt called the Egg Scramble,” said City Manager Michael Penny.

The Egg Scramble will take place outside on the driving range at The
Ridge – rain, snow or shine. Come early to enjoy hot chocolate and don’t forget to bring a basket to carry treasures home. For a few lucky
egg hunters, there are special prizes for nding golden eggs.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The egg scramble will unfold in three phases – egg hunters ages 0 to 4, 5 to 7 and 8 to 11 will have their own areas to hunt during this free community event. and can meet the Easter Bunny for fun photo opportunities.
Volunteers are still needed from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. to help make the day “eggstra” special. Contact event coordinator Jolene Richardson at jolene@castlepinesco.gov for more information.
National Prescription Drug Take Back Day

The 2019 National Prescription Drug
Take Back Day is Saturday, April 27.
This special day was established to help provide citizens with a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications.
In Douglas County Drug Take Back Day will be held at two locations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Douglas County Sheri substation, 9250 Zotos Drive, Highlands Ranch
• King Soopers, 4000 Red Cedar Drive, Highlands Ranch
All Walgreens stores providing a year- round safe drug disposal option in all its pharmacies at no cost to individuals. The company encourages Americans to “clean out their medicine cabinets” in an e ort to combat the opioid epidemic in the U.S.
