The Connection welcomes seasoned writer

The Castle Pines Connection is thrilled to welcome Chris Michlewicz to our team as a writer and photo journalist.
Michlewicz is originally from Royal Oak, Michigan, and moved to Douglas County in 1996. He has a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communications from
the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley. He has worked as a newswriter, photographer and editor in the south metro area for more than 12 years.
“My favorite part about being a journalist is getting to know the many interesting and talented people who make up a community,
especially those who
volunteer their time
to help nonpro t
organizations,” said
Michlewicz. “Everyone
has a story to tell, and I
enjoy getting to the
heart of each story and
sharing it through words and photos.”
In his free time, Michlewicz enjoys gol ng, hiking, camping, snowboarding and photography. He’s also an avid sports fan and is a member of a Denver blues-rock band.

Castle Pines North Association dissolves

On September 10, the Articles of Dissolution for the Castle Pines North Association,
Inc. (Master Association) were  led with
the Colorado Secretary of State, dissolving the more than 35-year-old community-
wide homeowners association (HOA). The remaining funds at the time of dissolution totaled $259,833 and were disbursed to the sub-HOAs that participated in the organization.
Homeowners with questions regarding the dissolution or other HOA related concerns should contact their respective sub-HOAs.

The Master Association was the unifying
body for the community before the City of Castle Pines was established in 2008. To
