Baptist Medical Center Nassau
Albert H. and Ruth Reid Desnoyers
– This endowment was established in 2014 by Albert H. Desnoyers in memory of his wife, Ruth Reid Desnoyers. This fund supports education and research in cardiac disease prevention, wellness, intervention and rehabilitation programs at Baptist Nassau.
Ann and Roy Millar Endowment
– The Millars established this fund
in 2024 to provide recognition and engagement opportunities for team members, volunteers and providers at Baptist Nassau.
Betty & David Berkman – Established by the Berkmans in 2015, this fund provides for a dedicated cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation space and program at Baptist Nassau.
Betty P. Cook – Established in 1997, this gift funds the areas of most need with an emphasis on scholarships for continuing education for health care professionals at Baptist Nassau. Ms. Cook was a nurse in Nassau County for many years and had a strong desire to promote advancements in education for nurses in the area.
Bryan Family – Chris and Bill Bryan established this endowment in 2014 to provide funds to support continuing education, as well as other types
of professional development for employees at Baptist Nassau.
Christopher’s Fund – The Christopher Edwards Foundation established this fund in 2015 to provide a dedicated cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation space and program at Baptist Nassau.
Condit Endowment for Innovative Technology – This fund provides innovative technology for imaging at Baptist Nassau.
Ed Hubel and Kristen Johnson-Hubel Patient and Family Experience – This fund enhances the patient and family experience through equipment or programs at Baptist Nassau.
James and Barbara Graham Family –
Mrs. Graham established this fund
in 2015 to support education and research in cardiac and pulmonary disease prevention, wellness and intervention and to establish a rehabilitation space and programs at Baptist Nassau.
James M. and Bonnie C. Tippins Endowment for Spiritual Care –
In 2017, Pat Stacy established this endowment in honor of Rev. James and Bonnie Tippins to provide funding for all aspects of spiritual care at Baptist Nassau, including but not limited to clinical pastoral education, clinical pastoral education residency, programming and any other areas of greatest need.
Jane L. and William C. O’Malley Family Cardiac Rehab – Established in 2016 to provide a dedicated cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation space and program support at Baptist Nassau.
Jim Mayo Chaplaincy – Established in 2011, this gift supports all aspects of Spiritual Care at Baptist Nassau. Mr. Mayo was the inaugural president of Baptist Nassau, serving from 1994 until he retired in 2011.
Joseph and Drenda Vijuk Foundation/Bill and Gayle Gower Social Responsibility – This fund was established in 2015 by Drenda Vijuk and Bill and Gayle Gower to support the community health partnership between Baptist Nassau and the Nassau County Tipping the Scale program through college or vocational scholarships.
Keffer Family – Richard Keffer Jr. established this fund in 2015 to support capital expansion for patient rooms at Baptist Nassau.
Paul and Kathy Bosland Community Health – Established in 2016 by long time Baptist Health Foundation trustee Paul Bosland and his late wife, Kathy, to support community health and wellness activities for Baptist Nassau.
The Rucker’s Women’s Health Endowment – This fund, established by Patricia and Reed Rucker in 2023, supports Women’s Health programs at Baptist Nassau.
Searles Family Foundation for Baptist Medical Center Nassau’s President’s Ventures – This fund supports priorities deemed strategic by Baptist Nassau’s hospital president which provide educational, research, outreach and clinical care programs for patients and their families.
Stapleton Family Cardiology Care
– This fund was established in 2016
by Dr. and Mrs. Russell B. Stapleton
to support education and research
in cardiac and pulmonary disease prevention wellness and intervention and rehabilitation space and programs at Baptist Nassau.
Stephen P. Lee – Established in 2016 in honor of Stephen P. Lee, Baptist Nassau hospital president emeritus, to provide a dedicated cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation space and program at Baptist Nassau.
Trinity Love Hoblit Foundation Education – Established in 2016 by Philip and Olivia Hoblit in honor of their daughter, Trinity Love Hoblit, to support neuroscience research for pediatrics and adults at Wolfson Children’s and Baptist Neurological Institute.
Bill and Gayle Gower Social Responsibility – This fund was established in 2015 by Bill and Gayle Gower to support the Nassau County Tipping the Scale coordinator.
