Bartram Trail District EAGLE SCOUT Recognition Dinner
DEDICATION
There are numerous scouts, scouters, and non-scouts, including many local business representatives, who have given unselfishly of their time, resources, and talents to celebrate the achievements of those Black Creek District Scouts who have achieved Scouting’s Flagship Rank – EAGLE SCOUT.
It is through the dedicated efforts of these many individuals that we have this highly successful event, unique in the North Florida Council. We would especially like to thank the faithful scouts and scouters for their continued support of this effort over the past decades. Without their generosity and support, this dinner would not have been possible.
We have not kept a list of those tireless volunteers who have helped with the Recognition Dinner. They remain, for the most part, anonymous to all but a few that have witnessed this annual event grow over the years. Their only reward has been the smiles on the faces of these young men they have worked so hard to honor and the satisfaction of serving the youth of Black Creek District.
As we gather for another Annual Eagle Scout Recognition Dinner, we take this opportunity to honor not only the Scouts who have earned the rank and title of EAGLE SCOUT, but also those individuals who have worked to make this dinner a reality.
To all those volunteers, past, present, and future, who have worked, are working, and will work to make the Black Creek District Eagle Scout Recognition Dinner a success, the EAGLE SCOUTS of the district who have trod the “Trail to Eagle” wish
to thank you for your devotion to the youth of our country.
“A man or boy can measure his success in this world only by the legacy he leaves behind, the lives he has touched, and the help he has provided his fellow man.”
