A significant shipment of medications was distributed in Beirut in February. The items included antibiotics, oral rehydration salts, cortisol cream, and inhalers. It was a necessary infusion of care into Lebanon’s crumbling healthcare sector, which has lost thousands of medical professionals to better opportunities outside the country, and where medications and medical supplies are scarce, expensive, and beyond the reach of our target community, thanks to a struggling economy.
