It is what makes people who face constant expulsion and violence celebrate family life and religious festivals in the midst of bombardment, pursue their education despite innumerable roadblocks, and walk miles to fetch water for their livestock and orchards. It is also what made, and what still makes, the staff at UPA wake up each day and meet every challenge with resolute calm, and the commitment to persevere.

Where there was need, we strived to meet it. Where there was caution, we built trust. Where there were obstacles, we pivoted to circumnavigate them in true Palestinian style.
These pages indicate some of the highlights of the work we have done over the past 45 years. 45 is a milestone worth celebrating, we know. But a celebration at the end of 2023 seemed out of
