FUNCTIONALITY
TRACK SYSTEM HARDWARE VISIBILITY
• Bi-Fold Panel Carrier Hardware—the panel carrier hardware for bi-fold track system applications will be visible below the valance. This is necessary for the bi-fold panels to be able to operate, and is inherent in bi-fold track applications.
• Bypass Panel Carrier Hardware—the panel carrier hardware for bypass track system applications is covered by both the Standard and Decorative valances, however it may be visible underneath the valance when standing close to the shutter.
• Our gentle-close mechanism slows the panels as they approach the frame and gently glides the panel up against the frame, preventing the panels from slamming against the frame and eliminating the potential for crushing fingers between the panel and frame.
• Carrier Hardware may be visible from the exterior of the window, unless the frame is mounted high enough that the hardware is above the top of the window opening.
• A friction brake is also included for all track systems.
• Support Brackets on top of the frame may also be visible above the valance, especially when viewed from a distance or from overhead. See image below. The 5 3/8" Standard Valance and Decorative Valance should provide full coverage of the support brackets in most applications.
TRACK SYSTEM BOTTOM TRACKS AND FLOOR GUIDES
• Bottom Tracks or Floor Guides are strongly recommended to improve panel functionality and performance.
• Bi-Fold Bottom Track mounts to the floor and runs full width from frame to frame. The bottom track is visible when
panels are open.
• Bypass Bottom Track mounts to the floor and runs full width of the frame. The bottom track is visible when panels are closed or stacked.
• Bypass Floor Guides are mounted to the floor directly below panel overlap, providing a small guide for the panels to slide in. It is available only for Standard Bypass. This option is minimally visible, but does not provide the same support as a Bypass Bottom Track.
IMPORTANT: The Bottom Track is a configuration item that must be specified in eOrders. The floor guide is automatically sent with any bypass track system that is not ordered with a bottom frame.

Track System Support Brackets Bi-Fold Bottom Track
