Cole began his scouting adventure when he joined Cub Pack 483 in September 2014 and earned his Bobcat, Tiger, Wolf, Bear, and Webelos Ranks, and the Arrow of Light Award. He crossed over to Troop 482 in February 2017 and earned his First Class Rank in May 2021. Cole has served his Troop as Quartermaster, Assistant Patrol Leader, Patrol Leader, and Assistant Senior Patrol Leader.
Cole has earned 37 Merit Badges. He has attended National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) and summer camp at Camps Ottari, Skymont Scout Reservation, and Summit Bechtel High Adventure.
Cole’s Eagle Project consisted of providing park signs and trail markers for Tillie K. Fowler Regional Park. This included replacing broken signs, improving the two trailhead signs for visibility, and placing markers to lead visitors to the observation tower.
Cole is a graduate of Fleming Island High School where he was a member of the Band and also played guitar. Cole’s post-graduation plans include attending college to pursue a degree in Electrical Engineering. His goal is to establish a career in that field to make a difference in people’s lives. One day he would like to be involved in Scouting again with his own children.
