William began his scouting adventure when he joined Cub Pack 25 in August 2011 and earned his Bobcat, Tiger, Wolf, Bear, and Webelos Ranks, and the Arrow of Light Award. He crossed over to Troop 25 in April 2017 and earned his First Class Rank in April 2021. William has served his Troop as Assistant Patrol Leader, Patrol Leader, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, and Senior Patrol Leader.
William has earned 25 Merit Badges and the BSA Lifeguard. He has attended summer camp at Camps Old Indian, Powhatan, and St. Johns River Base.
William’s Eagle Project consisted of renovating a rehearsal hall for the Orange Park Community Theater. This included taping off lights and baseboards, painting the rehearsal hall’s wall and trim. He also stripped and buffed the flooring and added three coats of wax.
William is a graduate of Orange Park High School where he was an Honor Roll student and a member of the Chess Team and Marching and Symphonic Bands. He received several awards in Band, including Most Improved, two Director Awards, and Outstanding Musician three years in a row. William is attending the University of South Florida and is majoring in Marine Biology. Sometime in the future, William would like to attend flight school and become a pilot.
