Dylan began his scouting adventure when he joined River Bend District, Cub Pack 35 in August 2013 and earned his Bobcat, Tiger, Wolf, Bear, and Webelos Ranks, and the Arrow of Light Award. He crossed over to Bartram Trail District, Troop 892 in February 2018 and earned his First Class Rank in April 2019. Dylan has served his Troop as Chaplain Aide, Historian, Scribe, and Patrol Leader.
Dylan has earned 29 Merit Badges and has attended summer camp at Camp Davy Crockett.
Dylan’s Eagle Project consisted of constructing a 31’ x 9’ x 16” indoor stage for “The Bam,” a youth ministry building, at Grace Anglican Church. The building is also used by Young Life of Clay County and serves children from preschool through high school. The stage will be used by the youth praise band and for other youth activities.
Dylan is a senior at Fleming Island High School and is enrolled in the Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE) program. He is a member of the National Honor Society, the Varsity Golf Team, including part of the State Champion Golf Team for Region 3A and All-County Golf Team. He is a Principal Scholar and is active in Young Life and Wyldlife where he serves as a leader. After graduation, Dylan plans to attend college at either Carson- Newman College or Wofford College to pursue a degree in Business. He also wants to earn his PGA tour card and play golf professionally.
