PLANT FARM
Can you believe it? Spring 2017 is almost here! As a grower, the slow sea-
son is still a busy one for us, and throughout the fall and winter we have
been working to make sure this spring will be a great one. Our propaga-
tion crew has been plugging away (pun intended), all winter long, loading
us up with plant material for the coming seasons. New crops of Heuchera
and Heucherella, as well as a variety of Ajuga, are freshly planted and will
be ready in time for spring sales. As a company, we are always tweaking
our programs and trying new things, so we may better serve you, our cus-
tomers. This year we have dropped some things from our program
(Oleander, for example) in order to try out small runs of new things (we will
be doing a test run of an exciting new shrub called Distylium), as well as fo-
cusing on upping the program numbers on things it seems we can never
have enough of. Additionally, as these words are being typed, 4"-18 count
flats of perennials are being laid down, and will also be ready soon. Now is
