ACT 3
Outside it is still raining. This time, there is no thunder nor lightning.
Only silence fills the room. The five of them are lying on the floor.
Boss slowly opens his eyes. His blurred vision becomes clearer, and he sees Tom with a gun in his hand lying next to him.
Orc’s gun which earlier fell next to Boss is no longer there.
Tom gathers his strength and attempts to help Boss to get up.
Sound of door opening.
Boss and Tom look up towards the door.
Boss has the shock of his life at what he is seeing.
BOSS: You? You’re alive...?
Tom quickly figures out the deception. Without a word, he quickly gets up to fight Matt who is standing at the door.
Gunshot. Before he can move forward, Tom falls onto the floor and drops dead.
Boss looks in disbelief.
BOSS (in pain): You? MATT: It’s me alright.
ARIETANS’KOLEQSYEN BOSS: You son of a bitch. Why?
MATT (satisfied): Let’s just say I don’t believe in democracy. Good bye, old man.
Another gunshot.
The rain outside is still pouring.

the same name which was made into a short film entitled “Five Chairs” at the New York Film Academy in 2008. The Bahasa Melayu version of this drama was published by Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka in its Dewan Sastera October 2014 issue.
