I dig a hole and bury myself, the glint under my tongue
you ask for a leather couch & a death mask
you ask for fossil and my arteries are #lled with stents
I lift sternum to sail & tedious chores #nish — us, the waves crafting glass becoming frown
strings snippets elegies at dawn
this melancholy is patient
and I drink so much
under its light
that whatever is asked of me is besomed away
