WDI By The Numbers
Last year WDI approved/launched 231 projects via the WDI Interactive Grants Program at an estimated cost of $2.7 million. This $2.7 million leveraged an additional $7.8 million of other funds; WDI funding therefore represented roughly 25% of total project costs. In addition, we supported 69 projects/events via sponsorships at a cost of $137,000. Details on both types of funded projects are below. Note that the total number and dollars allocated to projects was a slight decrease from prior years, which resulted from the COVID-19 NYS Pause.
