For almost two years working as a public educator, I drew on this and a handful of other scenarios from a campaign (www.draw-the-line.com)
meant to engage people in dialogue about sexual violence. Each scenario places the reader in a circumstance of sexual violence and invites them to choose how to respond; the goal of which is
to elicit conversation not only about why it’s important to set limits on what one is willing to do or accept, but also about how to intervene safely and effectively.
