Miamisburg: Linden Avenue and Third Street
Above: Linden Avenue both east and west in Miamisburg was home to Millionaires’ Row in 1913 and some of the city’s most prominent citizens of the day. Dr. John Treon’s house at 215 East Linden Avenue offered the photographer a bit of high ground to capture this image. Floodwater reached 5 feet in this area.
Diagonally, across the street was the home of Dr. Joseph Weaver and his wife, Fannie. The building next to their house was Dr. Weaver’s medical of ce.
