12.1 Trends and Intensity
The Literature Discovery, Regular Searches, and Infometric Use trends have shown volatile movements throughout 18 months. Three (3) distinct high periods are detected, i.e., Feb-March, July-September in 2020, and April 2021. However, in the case of Regulars Searches, its activity level remained relatively high from July 2002, stretching further until November 2020. On the other hand, Literature Discovery peaked at the highest in November 2020 (Figure 12.1.a).
The trend for the Sessions shows it has remained steady and fluctuated around the average throughout the 18 months, except marginally high in February 2020 and April 2021 (Figure 12.1.a).
