There are two open positions on the Board that need to be filled at the Annual meeting. Please email claire@oldsouthernbbq.com a short biography about yourself and what you would like to do to make our society a success. These Board positions are open to all members and the new directors will be voted in by the members. The new directors would be required to attend monthly board meetings and assist in other areas while the society In the southwest corner of Minnesota you’ll find the home of the Galloping Gobbler turkey race – a sight to be seen in Worthington, MN at the King Turkey Day festival! It’s also host to the great KTD Smokin’ Gobbler Cook-Off. For those teams that didn’t go to the American Royal, this contest is often a fun bbq-family get together that marks the end of the season. With great weather, great friends, and great competition, it was a fine way to finish out Minnesota’s last contest for 2019!
