highlights were Giant National BBQ Bash where we won Reserve Grand, 1st in Pork, and winning the Aus- tralian National Lamb Challenge. Next was winning the first Royal Oak Invitational, another 180 in Pork at the American Royal, and finishing in the Top 10 in KCBS and being MABA Team of the Year for third year in a row. For me personally, getting to walk the stage with my BBQ brothers, Chiles and Randy, and my wife Debra at both the American Royal and ‘The Jack’ is the true highlight!”
TEAM HIGHLIGHTS:
• In 2019, Wolf’s Revenge BBQ was ranked 8th for KCBS Team of the Year with 2nd in Chicken and 6th in Pork
• Mid-Atlantic Barbecue Association (MABA) Team of the Year for three years in a row in 2017, 2018, and 2019 • One of 24 teams invited to the “Smoking with Smith- field” National Barbecue Championship
• Competed at the Jack Daniels World Championship in 2016 with a 12th place finish and in 2018 with a 3rd in Sauce, 2nd in Chicken, and 10th Overall.
• Cooked at the American Royal 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 - First place in Pork with a “perfect perfect” score and finished 14th overall in 2018 Invita tional
-Third place in Pork at 2019 Invitational
• Invited to the King of the Smokers in 2017 and 2018
• Won Grand Champion of the Inaugural 2019 Royal Oak Invitational Championship
• Cooked with Cool Smoke at Memphis in May in 2018 when Cool Smoke won 2nd place Shoulder and again in 2019 when Cool Smoke won Grand Champion
FUTURE PLANS:
• Chiles is running for Board of Directors for both KCBS and MABA for 2020
• Wolf’s Revenge will continue to cook 20+ competi- tions per year while continuing to learn new tech- niques and always strive to improve
• The “Proclamation Stew Crew” will continue to do- nate their time supporting church and school fund- raisers
