Spring Training Workshop
This year’s Spring Training
Workshop will be held on
April 11, 2020 at the Univer-
sity of Minnesota (location
on campus is still being
worked out). Based on feed-
back from the last few years
workshop evaluations, we are
trying a new format this year.
Participants will have two
options to choose from. The morning will be the entire class together to hear Jess Pryles, Dr. Cox, Compart Farms, the Pork Board, and the Beef Council. Then in the after- noon we will be offering two breakout sessions. One will focus on equipment choices, fuels, and spices; the other session will concentrate more on the competition side of
BBQ. There will be a limited number of spots for the com- petition session. Everyone will be brought back together for the final wrap-up to the workshop. Details are still being finalized. We are hoping to have everything in place and to open registration by early December. This will make a great holiday gift if you’re looking for something unique for your BBQer.
