This column is always one of the toughest tasks I do every year. As I am attempting to write this, the Thanksgiving holiday has not even happened yet but here I am writing as if December is already in full swing. Now you know one of my yearly struggles, but actu- ally, this one is much easier than usual thanks to our new readership!
I want to give a warm welcome to our newest group of readers from the Pitmaster Club at
AmazingRibs.com. These faithful barbecue fans will now have the opportunity to see the Barbecue News Magazine in the new digi- tal "flipping book" format. A huge tip of the cap to my friend and new monthly contributor, Meathead, for working with me to help make this happen. If you are looking for proven BBQ and grilling answers to any questions, then I suggest you start your search there before wasting too much time elsewhere. Welcome again and know we are looking forward to working for all 16,000 plus members of that group in 2020.
As we prepare to say goodbye to 2019, I can not tell you how ex- citing 2020 is going to be for me. The Ben Que'n National BBQ Tour is coming together very nicely and we are looking forward to shaking YOUR hand and telling you THANKS for allowing us to serve you for the past 30 years! The tour schedule of events, photos, and information from all the stops will also be published here in the magazine as well every month. I sure hope to see you at one of our stops this coming year.
Goodbye to 2019, and thank you for a ton of Smokin' and Grillin' memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life. You were awful good to me and my #BBQfamily as a whole, and I am very grate- ful for getting to experience you!
