Spring is here and it’s me to uncover our classic cars and get ready to hit the road. Before you do, here are some ps to make sure your vehicle is ready to go:
If your ba ery has been on a trickle charge all winter, disconnect the charger and reconnect the ba ery. Otherwise, just charge the ba ery for a few days.
Check the coolant, oil, transmission uid, and
brake uids to make sure the levels are right
where they should be. Also, while under the
hood, check out the belts and hoses. Check
underneath the vehicle for telltale signs of any leaks. Finally, make sure you check for cri ers, such as mice, who might have taken up residence during the winter.
Insure re pressure on all ve res is set to the correct air pressure readings. Refer to your owner’s manual or the s cker on the driver’s
side door for the correct pressure. Test external lights and turn signals work well; check your horn.
