center’s high school firefighter program. He taught several years at Bowling Green State University’s State Fire School in various rescue disciplines, and he was a member of the Advisory Committee for State Fire School.
Mitch is still actively involved in the fire service, working with the Ohio Fire Chiefs’ Association as an assessor for promotions, and with the consulting division of the Association.
Mitch and his wife have been married for 40 years, and have a son and daughter. Mitch loves to spend time with family and friends camping, canoeing, and especially at the family cabin. His latest great pleasure in life is spending time with his two-year old granddaughter, who he will argue is the most beautiful, smartest, and funniest person in the world.
