OFESF Update
New Foundation FTellows are Introduced
he eighth class of Foundation Fellows was introduced at the 2017 Ohio Fire & Rescue Officer Development Conference. The invitation to become a Fellow is extended to those who exhibit the traits of character held in the highest esteem. Fellows
are leaders, motivators, mentors, and communicators. They are honest, trustworthy, dedicated, inspirational, loyal, and brave. Fellows are also respected, knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, ethical, and moral.
A Fellows Pledge allows the Foundation to continue to do important work on behalf of the membership, such as the Ohio Fire Executive Program.
This year’s class includes:
Deputy Chief Michael Froelich, OFC—Sylvania Fire-EMS Department Assistant Chief Matthew Heck, OFE—Massillon Fire Department Chief Stephen Kelly, OFE, OFC—Miami Township Fire Department Chief Lou Ann Metz, OFE—Bainbridge Township Fire Department Battalion Chief David Moore—Springfield Township Fire Department
