How to Size and Select Generators
The following data will be helpful in determining the proper size generator for your application. These nominal watts are approximate. If you do not know your tool’s wattage, multiply volts x amperage to nd wattage (Volts x Amps = Watts). Most electric motors require a much higher starting current than running current. As a rule, you require three times the running current for starting electric motors.

Generac iQ2000 Series Generators
Inverter technology provides clean
and stable power safe for computers and other sensitive electronic devices. Lightweight and compact with built-in handle for moving with minimal effort. The iQ2000 uses a different type of alternator than standard generators. A digital inverter module converts the raw power produced from DC to AC power. Engine speed varies depending on
electrical demand which signi cantly reduces noise levels. POWERDIALTM is a simple-to-use dial integrates start, run and stop functions. Select Turbo for large loads, Standard or Economy mode to save fuel and reduce noise. At-a-glance status LED lights on control panel displays fuel gauge, run-time remaining display, and generator status lights. Optional Parallel Kit connects two iQ2000 generators for twice the power.
