This Ramset semiautomatic .27 caliber strip tool offers
a 3" maximum pin size capacity. Most common applications are for 2"
x 4" to concrete and
sheet metal to concrete. Lightweight with an easy balance, soft, recoil absorbing handle and rubber grip front barrel are all designed to reduce operator fatigue and increase comfort. 5 year warranty.
Viper 4 Overhead Tool
This unique tool has been speci cally designed for
overhead fastening and acoustical applications. The new Ramset® VIPER4 .27 Caliber Strip Powder Tool design makes overhead applications even easier. Compatible with the newly designed poles, the rear collar is connected by set screw to avoid a manual tightness check. Automatic load advance means that the load is advanced consistently each time the Viper is red. Automatic Piston return mean that no time spent manually resetting or cycling the tool which allows
the user to work faster. Viper4 uses the new pole system for greater ease and accuracy.

Standard powder actuated pins fasten inconsistently into steel. Frequently, steel is just too hard for conventional pins. Since the hardness of
steel varies, steel is also inconsistent. Ramset's exclusive PowerPoint Pins solve this problem by providing easier penetration into hard steel and hard concrete. PowerPoint Pins work well in steel hardness up to 90Rb, making this an excellent, cost effective alternative to drilling and tapping. 100 pins per box. Shank diameter: .150.
