QUEEN CREEK FIRE STATION NO. 1 AND PUBLIC SAFETY FACILITY
The Queen Creek Fire Station No. 1 and Public Safety Facility, built for the Town of Queen of Creek, included the demolition of aging municipal structures and the new construction of a 13,400-square-foot fire station and a 22,400-square-foot public safety and multi-purpose facility in Queen Creek, AZ. The facility houses the Town of Queen Creek Fire Department’s Battalion Chief, community chambers, and law enforcement headquarters, and supports 12 dormitories, administrative offices, and the three-bay Fire Station No. 1. The public safety complex was constructed utilizing a slab-on-grade foundation with a steel frame, architectural masonry with metal wall panels for the exterior finish, and a combination of metal and foam roof. By consolidating crucial municipal and emergency services into one location, the Town of Queen Creek Fire Station No. 1 and Public Safety facility now effectively serves the rapidly growing population.
