NATIONAL GUARD SPEEDWAY READINESS CENTER
The National Guard Speedway Readiness Center project, built for the Nevada State Public Works Division, consisted of the new construction of a 71,000-square-foot, two-story readiness center for the Nevada Army National Guard. The structure is classified as a mixed-use facility including assembly, business, and storage occupancies. The primary structure was constructed on concrete slab-on-grade and slab-on-deck with a combination of concrete masonry and steel post/beam vertical assemblies. The project included major site amenities including a secured entry point and site perimeter, access roads, personal vehicle parking, military and heavy equipment storage, and a 2,800-square-foot enclosed metal building. The National Guard Speedway Readiness Center features allowances for future geothermal and photovoltaic incorporation.
