TIMBER MESA FIRE STATION NO. 17
The Timber Mesa Fire Station No. 17 project, built for the Timber Mesa Fire and Medical District, included the new construction of a 13,638 square foot fire station located in Show Low, AZ. The facility houses three vehicles bays and six dorm rooms. The fire station was constructed on a slab-on-grade concrete foundation, a masonry structural frame, an exterior of brick veneer and masonry, and an asphalt shingle roof. The project also features a fitness room for firefighters, medical exam room for public use, an on-site water tank, a communications tower, bio-kinetic septic system, an on-site propane tank for heating and cooling, and wood-stained structural elements throughout the building. The Timber Mesa Fire Station No. 17 project now provides a modernized facility for firefighters in Navajo County.
