DALLAS FIRE STATION NO. 10
The Dallas Fire Station No. 10 project, built for the City of Dallas, included the new construction of a 6,000 square foot fire station addition located in Dallas, TX. The facility houses two and a half apparatus bays and accommodates 14 firefighters per shift. The addition was constructed on a cast-in-place concrete foundation, structural steel frame, an exterior of concrete masonry unit block, and a TPO roof. The project also features new communications wiring, flagpoles, and a fireman’s pole. This project achieved LEED Gold Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council for indoor environmental quality, optimized energy efficiency, and sustainable features. Dallas Fire Station No. 10 now provides the most effective and rapid emergency, fire, rescue, and prevention services in an ever-changing environment to the citizens of the community.
