PROJECT WINS The CORE|HORUS team was honored to be selected by Orange County Public Schools to be the Construction Manager at-Risk for their new Middle School being built in the Horizon West Town Center. Project scope consists of the construction of a new multi-story prototype middle school, approximately 185,000 gross square feet, with classrooms, skills/ resource labs, art, music, career and technical education labs, administration, kitchen, dining/ multi-purpose, media center, gymnasium, and support spaces. Outdoor amenities such as track and field, hard courts and softball fields for the middle school and construction of new PE pavilion, PE Office, toilets, PE storage and outdoor PE amenities such as multi-purpose fields and hard courts will also be included. The prototype is based off of the existing Horizon West Middle School pictured above. This project win is a direct result of all of the hard work and passion that our OCPS project teams have put in for this client over the years and is the largest contract awarded to CORE|HORUS by this client to date.
